About 200 boaters, and supporters on land, showed up for the Rally for River Recreation at Quinns Pond in Boise Thursday night to launch a fund-raising effort to transform a quarter-mile of the Boise River into a multi-use river park. Read more on Zimos blog HERE !
Hey everyone - We have decided to postpone the June Throwdown and move it to another date. We have so much water that the gutter is full and has no good waves, Most of this weekend there was even too much water for the bladder wave - it just glassed out. And when it is in it may only be in for a short time and then change again.
[singlepic=83,320,240,,left]Our next Throwdown is Wednesday, June 10th at the Gutter. We have moved the date in order to accommodate the kickoff for the Boise River Recreation Park that was scheduled on the 11th.
So we will meet Wednesday for this month at 5:30 for registration and hit the wave at 6pm. I'll bring my grill, so [...]
Come for a fun evening of live music, great refreshments, and the Boise premiere of Whitewater Hall of Famer Kent Fords new documentary on the history of whitewater kayaking and canoeing.
