About Me:: Started paddling about 6 years ago and would usually average 5-10 days on the water. I never thought I wanted to do much more than the Nanty untill last fall when we did a couple of drops on the Upper Green and that sparked something new. There was also something about the walk out, up the big hill that made me love it even more. Carrying my boat, legs buning as you climed just all seemed so cool to me. Needless to say, I am so eager to get better and spend as much time on the water as possible. My goal is to be able to compitantly run the Ocoee by the end of the summer, ( I did a section the other day and had a couple of swims. after taking off and digesting the day's events, I want to be able to run,enjoy and play in the river, Not just get through it...) but I believe my heart is in the drop pool runs!!! Gott love the Southeast and even better, I live on the Pleateau so there is an endless playground when the water's running.

I love the culture that comes with each river and is seems like most have thier own. The people you meet are usually super cool individuals and it's always a great place to make new friends.

Other Activities:: Most anything outside. Festivals involving quality beer and live music, any body of water, scuba, traveling, cooking, painting, snow skiing, my husband and my dog, family, friends.
