"As you walk through life, you will come to a chasm. Jump; it's not as far as you think."
I had a great time this weekend with Memphis Whitewater and the Virginia Boyz. We started the trip with a run down the Nanty. The group consisted of 15 boaters: Paul, Justin (twinkle toes), Nealc, Dalton (neal's son), Lauren, Mhoward, Rob, David, Sharon, River Rat Ron, Ruthie (phillip's daughter), Phillip50, Kevins, FatDoug, and me.

The good news...I nailed my off side roll last night.
The bad news...I freaked on the Nanty last weekend.

I actually despise the testing, but it is a good sign that things are coming to their eventual end. The stress is taking its toll (I'm breaking out like one of my 13 year olds...goes great with my grey streak!!!), but other than that, life is pretty good.
My daughter continues to recover from pneumonia (her recovery has kept me out of my boat for a week...which is no big deal…
