middle-aged female with a desk job but manage to paddle about 90 days per year... started kayaking in Nov 2003; since then i've paddled class III-IV whitewater in 20 US states and 8 foreign countries (so far)... don't really aspire to do class V but admire those who do

Lower Gauley, Ocoee, Ohiopyle Falls (upside down and right side up, in photo)
Boats:
WaveSport EZG & Dagger Mamba (but really want a small Pyranha Burn)
Other Activities:
canyoneering, caving, skiing (snow - the other white water), scuba diving

hey there! You should have an awesome trip over to Uganda - I love it, and miss it a lot these days. Best thing to do about kayaking there, especially if you need gear and don't have a lot of time to mess around, is to talk to the folks at http://www.kayakthenile.com/ A lovely Scot called Jamie started it and runs a safe and unique business.

Yea flee flickers way fun. But only when the waters low because someone told us that the rapid becomes nasty when the waters high. But totally check it out:) I think suzi was telling me about webster springs. I'm sure i can't come because my Dads going to be out of town. bummer. well you guys have FUN! lata

Hey~ The picture 15 was taken on the new the rapid is flee flicker right below fayette station. We had alot of fun playing around with that rapid. Oh and my avatar was taken at the USNWC you probably can tall that.. and the little frog on my boat is my new friend;-) ha ha anywho are you going to be going paddling anytime soon??? take care -me

Yup, Monica took that photo of me on the Tellico this past Sunday. Really pretty run! I think Monica posted a trip report on the TN Creeking thread on the board if you want to look it up. Are you boatin' this weekend?

well that's good it made since:) the USNWC was great!!!! I got to paddle only one day cuz on sunday it stormed..the conveyer belt was cool unnaturale but still cool;-) we know someone that works there so that is sweet!!!!!!!
