About Me:: Hey everyone, ok so my name is Charlie Simmons, i live and go to school in Auburn alabama. Im a senior in Production Horticulture, and finishing my minor in entomology. I love the OUTDOORS!! Especially whitewater kayaking. Either playboating or Creeking, im always up for a float trip. I cant seem to stop. But all in all i try to spend as much time with the people that make me happy at the places that make me the most happy, the woods. I think/hope to work for the National Park services when i first get out of school. Not only being able to utilize my horticulture degree, but also have a chance to accel in areas like climbing and mountaineering. A Glory dream of mine is to open a high adventure shop- driven towards expiditionary outings; climbing, paddling, biking,etc.. I've had the privalage to have worked/run high adventure camp programs, wich has allowed me get a taste of what its like to work where you love everyday, and look forward to that in the future!!!
I am a Kayaking/Canoeing instructor
and am soon to be co moderator of www.auburnkayaker.com
hopefully to help accel the paddling community in the college town where i first learned.

Favorite Rivers:: Little River Canyon(Al), Chatooga, Chattahoochee (metro Columbus play baby!)

Other Activities:: Outdoors. Climbing, Biking, whitewater KAYAKING!!!, backpacking, any excuse to get out. Weather its playboating or Creeking, I try to paddle on a daily basis although, with school and work it doesn't always happen. Music is key in life so I keeps it playin!Kayak Instruction, Gardening, making movies,schooling,and PHOTOGRAPHY, I cant seem to do anything without my cameras.

Music:: String cheese,Old and in the Way, jurassic 5, Galactic, Allman bros, Grateful dead, Claptin,Grissman quentet, North Mississippi allstars, the Beatles, Minibosses,Blackolicious, Robert Randolph, Sublime, led zepplin, gov't mule, moe, yonder mountain and man way to much to list
