About Me:: I have been kayaking for over a decade and will never stop! I love freestyle, surfing waves is my favorite, but I'll run something big every now and then...

Favorite Rivers:: Upper Gauley, Ottowa, Main Salmon, Lochsa, Bear, Overflow, Green Narrows, Oh-Be-Joyful, Green Truss, South Fork Salmon

Other Activities:: artistic metalwork, welding, drawing, violin, history, baking, and home remodeling. I love to fish, hunt, and shoot with my dad.
Snowboarding is a blast, and I'd do more of it if I lived somewhere else. I mountain bike also, but I'm not great.

Music:: Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline...Clint Black and Alan Jackson are good too.

Movies:: Seven Years in Tibet, The Ghost and the Darkness, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and Road Trip

Good Things:: My husband, chocolate, ranier cherries, an air blunt, stomping down the bow on a well timed boof, summers out west, and fall at the Gauley

Hateful Things:: Selfish boaters with elitist attitudes who refuse to help others.

Nice to hear from you! I hope to get south this year, for it has been awhile. I'm planning to go to the Bubbler squirt session on the New in Virginia and to FIBArk in June and that's about it so far....it was good to hear your voice last fall when you called about the Nationals. If you head north, the Adventure Sports Center will be there (it's just about 8 miles to the Upper Yough put-in so at least worth a look)!.
