About Me:: Paddling is my life! I live in Bend, Oregon and I'm always on the go. When not on the river, I'm a starving artist going to school to get my bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Something that is bound to be more troublesome than the insurance is the special use permits we are going to need for ALL sections of river you plan on having events on (even the beginners clinics... if it's on the schedule, you need the permit) as well as the festival location. Dates and river sections are important. Try to pick areas (and I'm laying this on you because I don't know the area) that won't be totally dependent on flows or should have reliable flows, because once we get the permits, they are really hard to change. We'll talk more about this soon, but I think we should start to think about nailing down our dates and securing a venue for the festival so we have our shit together when we apply for the special use permits. I know that's a lot of info, but May will be here much sooner than any of us think :-) Talk soon.

I have the use of ramps, slalom gates, and an amplifier w/ microphone. I have a tshirt guy for the t's. He will give us a deal out here. I have done many large gatherings and have got this set for the SE. All we gotta do is finalize the basic plans and get the dates set. When you email me I will give you, or you give me, your phone number so we can polish. I hope you didnt mind me pouncing on your idea and making it a coast to coast deal but I have been thinking on this for a couple of years and already have all the details down for a big SE gathering. Anyway.. email me asap.
