About Me:
I paddled for Wave Sport from 1996-2007 and was Brand Manager from 2003-2007. I now live in Lowell, MA just outside Boston with my wife Bekah. I still have a house in my "home-town" of Fayetteville, WV (known affectionately as the 'wet-house', also the title of a kayak film) where some of my still-full-time-professional-kayaker friends live and play. I get to visit and try to keep up now that I'm not paddling full time. I'm now Marketing Director for a new company in Boston called Vertuous (www.vertuous.com).

Life with kayaking after life as kayaking

After finishing college, I fell into the kayak lifestyle 110%. I'm a pretty obsessive person when it comes to my pursuits, and kayaking followed serious addictions to skateboarding, snowboarding, and shorter but intense forays into various other activities that require intense physical study. Right on, I got my start surfing. I have surfed since I was 5 years old and picked up a boat and paddle when I was 18. There is nothing wrong with being a cold water junkie.
