About Me:
I am a Wyoming boy transplanted into the Memphis area. When I moved here, I planned on being here for 2 years. 10 years later, here I am, and it is still not home.

It is not all bad, I suppose. I started paddling a few years ago and am now paddling class III-IV whenever I can find time to get away from my job as a network administrator.

The doctor said the bone structure is good, no fractures, My socket is still in good shape. Probably have torn ligaments. So the first step is a MRI. But I don't have that kinda cash right now. They're expensive. So I'm in limbo. My shoulder brace has worked well but it sucks because while on the river I think about my shoulder more than my kayaking.

You will see me around soon. I am going on the Bear Creek run and your Hiawassee river running clinic. My shoulder is a complete wreck though. It pops out when I do my physical therapy exercises and when I sleep. It pops out about once a week now.

The Wings did it, I keep telling people I can get back to my regular life. You can't say we bought this one. The salary cap ends that discussion.

My kayak has been dry. My funds have been low lately to fill the tank up. The wednesday roller hockey sounds good but I need to get to roll class. So we'll see. The games have always been on Wednesdays so I haven't been to roll practice in 2 months.

After this month I will be done with graduations, watching Stanley cup finals and weddings and I'll have some free time. I don't mind driving down to hernando for some hockey. I'll be in touch.

Well,
I haven't played roller hockey in I can't remember how many years. I know I haven't played since moving to Memphis but I skate at Shelby Farms. But my workplace has a good parking lot to play some hockey on (and basketball). The parking lot is empty after 4 on weekdays and on weekends.

My shoulder feels good. I've been working on my paddling and bracing technique so I'm hoping that will help in the future.

BTW let me know if you wanna play some roller hockey. I got my blades out of the attic last week.

Heyya! I've not gone out and paddled yet. I need to. I really want to go over to Arkansas sometime. I'm actually about to buy a boat so I'll have my own nice and outfitted boat to paddle, which I think will be better for me. But how's life been for you? Have you gotten out and played in the rain?
